This includes the words you have learned, your quiz results, favorites, daily streak progress, and learning statistics. By default, all learning data is stored locally on your device using an embedded database.

We may collect information about how you interact with the App, including features used, screens visited, and general usage patterns. This helps us understand what works well and where we can improve.

Device Information

We may collect basic device information such as device type, operating system version, and app version to ensure compatibility and troubleshoot issues.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Mind Your Words service
• Track your learning progress and streaks
• Send learning reminders via local notifications (processed on your device only)
• Analyze aggregated usage patterns to improve features and usability
• Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the service

3. Data Storage and Security

Your learning data is stored locally on your device using an embedded SQLite database. We take the security of your information seriously and implement appropriate measures to protect it.

• No personal data is sent to external servers unless you opt in
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties, ever

4. Third-Party Services

Mind Your Words may integrate with the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat -- for subscription and payment management
• Expo -- for app updates and notifications

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data -- all your learning data is stored locally and accessible within the App
• Delete your data -- you can reset your progress or uninstall the App to remove all local data
• Opt out of analytics -- disable usage tracking through the App settings

6. Data Retention

Your learning data remains on your device for as long as the App is installed.

• Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data
• Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely to help us improve the service
• We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

7. Children's Privacy

Mind Your Words is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
